OUR HOME
Newly remodeled basement with all the amenities, located in a quiet mountainside neighborhood. Feel like you're getting away for the evening while being minutes from local attractions including Hill AFB (10min), Lagoon amusement (15min), Downtown Salt Lake (30min), Salt Lake Airport (35 min), Snowbasin Resort (25 min), and so much more!
With 3 large bedrooms sleeping 8 comfortably on beds, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining, laundry and living room, as well as access to a spacious backyard and firepit, you'll find there is plenty of space for groups of almost any size.
Located on the East bench of Layton, we're nestled in beautiful mature trees away from the city lights, but only minutes from all the attractions. Enjoy the star gazing and the sounds of crickets all while being 30 min or less away from anything you could want to see.
Nestled between 3 highways and a short distance away from the train station, getting to any location on your agenda will be quick and easy.
Each room was designed with comfort and ease in mind. None of the rooms share a wall, helping increase privacy, and just in case you forget your wall charger each room has outlets with USB ports by the bed. Also, the bedrooms and living room each have a Roku smart TV allowing you to connect with your favorite streaming services. Additionally, we've provided access to a media server with over 1000 movies, and thousands of songs, podcasts, and other media options for you to enjoy.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS AND DESTINATIONS
Experience unique outdoor recreation at Antelope Island State Park, just minutes west of us. If you’re a golfer, go play at Davis County’s 11 courses. If you’re a thrill seeker, enjoy Lagoon Amusement Park for a day full of roller coasters and games. During the winter, experience some of the greatest snow on earth at Snowbasin.
TRANSPORTATION
Relying on public transit? Easily commute with Utah’s Frontrunner Rail, with a station only minutes away. If you want to explore Salt Lake City (SLC), our home is located only 30 minutes to downtown by freeway, or trust Utah Transit Authority (UTA) to get you from Layton to downtown SLC in just an hour. Flying in? you're only a 35 minute car ride from the main terminal.
RESTAURANTS
Layton boasts over 30 restaurants within a one mile radius. If you’re looking for local fare, try out Rooster’s – the nearby micro-brewery and American restaurant, or get freshly rolled sushi at Osaka, find slow-cooked BBQ at Holy Smoke, or homemade Irish fare at MacCool’s. Your favorite chains can be found nearby too, like Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and Pizza Hut.
